Friendship Centre for Seniors

Our Friendship Centre is a lively hub of activity for seniors in our community.

All our programmes are run at All Saints Community Centre, 338 Church Street, Palmerston North.

Live Music Concerts

Mondays (weekly) 1.30 - 3.30pm

Live Music concert with local entertainers, followed by afternoon tea.

Your $3 donation per session is appreciated. Transport available.

 Mind Matters

Tuesdays (weekly) 9.30 - 11.30am

Enjoy a game of cards or scrabble and a chat with friends, followed by morning tea.

 Your $3 donation per session is appreciated. Transport available.

Palmy Men

1st & 3rd Thursday of each month, 10.00 - 11.30am

A place for men to gather and connect, find friendship and support as needed. No judgement, no cost and no program - just morning tea and a relaxed atmosphere to korero and support.

Open to all men.  Bring along a mate or neighbour.

 Groovy Moves

Tuesdays 1.30 - 2.30pm

Aerobic exercise along with plenty of fun & laughs. Enjoy building your balance, strength, agility, coordination and rhythm. Catering for those who are 60+ who have good mobility.  Your $2 donation per session is appreciated. Own transport required.

Balance 4 Life

Thursdays 1.30 - 2.30pm

Stretch and strengthening exercise to increase balance and mobility.

Your $2 donation per session is appreciated. Own transport required.

Silver Steps

Seniors enjoy monthly outings into the community, including cafes, concerts, gardens, events and movies.

Donation will vary. Transport available.
